Whitman in the Woods

This Sunday was the second workshop in the Urban Nature Ecopoetry series. We set up a picnic by the sandy shore of Wissahickon Creek, read poetry of the Romantics and Trascendentalists, and wrote our own poems inspired by our readings and the natural surroundings. It was a perfect spring evening!
